Students are entered at the tier deemed to be the most appropriate for each individual.

Final decisions on tier of entry will be made by the end of January in the year students are sitting their GCSE.

Non-calculator papers emphasise fractions, decimals, percentages, as well as non-calculator methods for arithmetic.

Worded questions are significantly represented throughout the papers.

ALL papers have a significant problem solving focus.

Students need to be fully equipped for lessons and exams.  Equipment includes pens, pencils, rubber, ruler, protractor, pair of compasses and a scientific calculator.

Planned programme:

Students will sit the exam at the Summer session of their Year 11.
