Computer Science

Computer Science equips students with problem-solving and programming skills for the digital age. KS3 introduces visual programming (BYOB), flowchart-based coding, and Python, alongside theory topics like hardware and cybersecurity. At GCSE, students tackle algorithms, data representation, and advanced Python programming, while exploring ethical and legal issues in technology. Lessons combine theory and practical coding, preparing students for careers in tech. Enrichment includes coding challenges and lunchtime programming clubs.
